Durgamati The Myth is starring one of the finest actress Bhumi Pedneker and actor Arshad Warsi. Bhumi Pedneker made her debut in Hindi cinema in 2015 with her movie Dum Laga Ke Haisha. She also bagged the Filmfare Award for Best Female Debut for the same. Although the reason behind the change in the title of the movie was not uncovered till now. Durgamati The Myth is a remake of the horror South Indian movie Bhaagamathie. The movie Bhaagamathie was released in 2018 starring Anushka Shetty.
