Former President Pranab Mukherjee still in Deep Coma, but Stable

Pranab Mukherjee, the Former President of India was admitted to the Army’s Research and Referral Hospital in Delhi on August 10 and was operated for removal of a clot in the brain the same day. The doctors said that later he developed a lung infection and also suffered from renal dysfunction. Mukherjee is still in coma on ventilator support but is haemodynamically stable. According to the doctors a patient is haemodynamically stable when his blood pressure, heart and pulse rate are stable and normal.Pranab Mukherjee is aged 84, and is kept under intensive care and is being treated for a lung infection and renal dysfunction. 


The hospital stated that,”Shri Pranab Mukherjee is kept under intensive care and his treatment for lung infection and renal dysfunction is going on. But he still continues to be in a deep coma and is currently on ventilator support. He is haemodynamically stable,”. Mukherjee was the 13th President of India and served the country from 2012-2017. We pray for the speedy recovery of our Former President.
