The Good Doctor Season 5 Episode 3 Spoilers
In the upcoming episode, “Measure Of Intelligence,” Shaun will be under pressure, with Salen assuming over without consulting the physicians. Furthermore, Lea is concerned about Shaun since things are deteriorating. Shaun is struggling to adjust to new circumstances, and he will need all of Lea’s and his friends’ help. Moreover, things are becoming increasingly difficult for Dr. Murphy; this episode will undoubtedly include another run-on between Shaun and Salen.
Shaun is already finding it challenging to assist his bride with wedding preparations. They’re taking it to step by step, and suddenly, these new regulations are nothing more than a source of stress. Glassman can’t help but accept his new job at the hospital, according to the synopsis. In the previous episode, he tried all out to show that he didn’t care for Salen, and it backfired.
Shaun has difficulty sleeping in the trailer, while Lea confesses that change has always been challenging. Following that, we see Lea discussing Shaun’s condition with Glassman. According to Glassman, Shaun is worried about having a new fiancée and a new obnoxious employer, and this isn’t helping him. Furthermore, Salen and Shaun will have another argument when she informs him that he has ASD, and he tells her that she made the wrong choice by making decisions without consulting them. It’ll be fascinating to see whether Shaun and the physicians can finally stand up to Salen and her leadership.
The Good Doctor Season 5, What happened Till Now?
In the previous episode, ‘Piece of Cake,’ Salen Morrison introduced some new technology to the Doctors of St. Bonaventure Hospital. Patients will be able to provide feedback to their physicians via technology, which will motivate them to work more. Her new rules call into question the hospital’s ethics, as the emphasis shifts from treating patients to servicing clients. Furthermore, we saw her poking her nose into the cases handled by a different doctor, advising them to wrap the instances as soon as possible. Doctors, particularly Dr. Shaun, are finding it challenging to deal with Salen.
Abby Clemmis, a prisoner who may have poisoned her infant, was among the patients for today. Park does a series of tests to determine the source of Abby’s baby’s issue. Meanwhile, Salen demands that he release Abby’s bed as soon as possible. On the other hand, Park does not listen to her and continues to work on the baby’s health. The surgery goes well, but she is not allowed to see her healthy baby yet. Abby battled hard for her child. Finally, she discovers that she did not poison the baby in any way. It had some additional conditions, which they will report to the police.
Madeline Cross is the second patient for today. She came here for dehydration treatment, but it seems that the issue is much more severe. Especially when she coughs up blood, she is alone with her mother, with whom she has a strained relationship. Madeline finishes the episode by going through everything. Madeline also reconciles with her mother, erasing all of their old grievances.
Salen’s efforts to reform the hospital do not seem to be having the desired effect. While her strategy appears to be sound on paper, her lack of medical understanding is causing a conflict between the doctor’s methods and what she desires.
