The Simpsons is an American animated sitcom created by Matt Groening for the FOX. The first episode of The Simpsons premiered in 1989. Till now, it has total of 707 episodes and 33 seasons. It’s the longest running animated series in prime time network television.

The main characters are the Simpson family, who live in a fictional “Middle America” town of Springfield. Homer being a careless father, works as a safety inspector at the Springfield Nuclear Power Plant. The complete family including Homer’s wife and three children are dysfunctional. Many episodes examine their relationships and bonds with each other and they are often shown to care about one another.

The Simpsons has won dozens of awards since it debuted as a series, including 34 Primetime Emmy Awards, 34 Annie Awards and a Peabody Award. Season 33 and 34, renewed on March 3, 2021.

Simpsons with vengeance on their mind set out on a mission to get grampa’s money back. Judging by the title of the episode, Bart will somehow end up in Jail. That would be hilarious.
