Actress Scarlett Johansson and her fiancé, comedian Colin Jost, got married in an intimate ceremony over the weekend. The news was revealed by food charity Meals on Wheels on Friday (30/10/2020).

The duo’s marriage was revealed through Meals on Wheels’ social media handles. Their Instagram post read:
“We’re thrilled to break the news that Scarlett Johansson and Colin Jost were married over the weekend in an intimate ceremony with their immediate family and loved ones, following COVID-19 safety precautions as directed by the CDC (Centers for Disease Control and Prevention).”
Meals on Wheels also asked fans of the couple to make a donation. “Their wedding wish is to help make a difference for vulnerable older adults during this difficult time by supporting Meals on Wheels”, read the Instagram post.
Scarlett Johansson is well-known for her performances in the Avengers series. She is one of the highest-paid actresses in Hollywood, much credited with the role of Natasha Romanoff (Black Widow) in the Marvel series. She will be seen next in the standalone Marvel film Black Widow.
The film’s release got delayed a few times due to the Covid-19 pandemic and is now scheduled to release in May 2021. Also, she earned two Oscar nominations this year for films Jojo Rabbit and Marriage Story.
Johansson’s representative confirmed the news of marriage as well.
Aged 35, she was married two times previously. First to Canadian actor Ryan Reynolds (2008-11) and then to French journalist Romain Dauriac (2014-17). She has a daughter named Rose with the journalist.
Colin Jost is a writer and comedian on television sketch show Saturday Night Live. In July 2020, he released his memoir titled A Very Punchable Face: A Memoir. Aged 38, this is his first marriage.
