The Golden Globes will be reviewed, there will be a new organization around the presentation and determination of film awards. It’s time to look back on decades of red carpet looks with ten of the sexiest dresses ever.
The Hollywood Foreign Press Association (HFPA), the organization behind the Golden Globes, withdraws. The assets, rights and property of the institution behind the American film and television awards have been bought by private investors.
Awards have a new face
The new Golden Globes Foundation will support the work of the HFPA go ahead and “plan, organize and produce the annual Golden Globe Awards,” say the new owners. The HFPA will eventually go away. It is not yet clear what exactly that means for the international film journalists who are members and vote for the awards.
The Golden Globes organization, founded in 1943, has been criticized for years for, among other things, a lack of diversity. The HFPA said last year that 52 percent of its nearly 90 members are now women and 51.5 percent are “racially and ethnically diverse.”
Sexy looks on the red carpet at the Golden Globes
Granted, out of all those dresses and celebrities, it’s not easy to pick out the edgiest red carpet looks of all time. Therefore, this list is quite arbitrary. For example, where is Madonna? Or Cher? Or Emily Ratajkowski? Or Jennifer Lopez? And why did they skip the 70s and 80s? Well, you get it. Take a look at the top 10, which might have been slightly different.

8. Sofia Vergara – 2017

9. Irina Shayk – 2019
And then suddenly Bradley Cooper was the happiest man in Hollywood.
10.Salma Hayek- 2020
With Salma Hayek we could make a separate top 10 with the sexiest dresses at the Golden Globes. Therefore, it is logical that she is part of this honorable list.
