138 (top) movies will disappear after June 2023

It’s a coup again: Netflix has a major round of cleanup planned for the end of June. Up to 138 movies will be removed from the streaming service after June 30. We list them all for you, after a number of selected gems that we recommend.

Licenses Expire, Deals Are Over: The streaming service is going full throttle on Originals for a reason, which in most cases you can keep forever. Third party movies are very expensive and Netflix can only offer them temporarily.

Last chance for 138 movies on Netflix

For you as a consumer, that means it’s time to schedule a late-breaking movie marathon. Matter of fishing for cherries in the mush, because you only have a little over two weeks left to stream the gems below and the rest of the 138 movies on Netflix.

47 Ronin

Craving more Keanu Reeves after the latest John Wick? so you are there 47 Ronin in the right place Director Carl Rinsch brings you a pure popcorn action movie. No, 47 Ronin It’s not Oscar material, but it’s not necessary for a thoroughly entertaining movie night. Reeves plays Kai, a samurai who is part of a group of ronin, all bent on revenge: his master has been murdered and they know who is responsible. He clears your mind and enjoy.

IMDb Score: 6.2

The amazing Spider Man

Suddenly, Andrew Garfield was Peter Parker again, thank you. Spider-Man: No Way Home of 2021. That tasted like more, and luckily you can also get it on Netflix in the form of The amazing Spider Man. The first and by far the best of the two movies in which Garfield played the iconic Marvel character. the known origin story, but with a different jacket. Starring Emma Stone as Wen Stacy!

IMDb Score: 6.9

the hateful eight

Fancy something a little more quality? Then we have a great recommendation for you in the form of the hateful eight. A western by none other than Quentin Tarantino, who is currently working on his latest film. the hateful eight it is a recent milestone in his impressive work. Tarantino takes you back to America shortly after the Civil War. They pass bounty hunters, sheriffs and other colorful characters, of course played by the crème de la crème of Hollywood. Plus: Tarantino’s still fantastically written dialogue has plenty of room here.

IMDb Score: 7.8

notting hill

After all that muscle violence, it’s time for a completely different genre, that of the romantic comedy. Then it is notting hill of course the film, the pinnacle of a wonderful streak of rom-coms that came out in the 1990s. We also have déjà vu, because this movie has already been on Netflix a dozen times. oh happy notting hill another movie you can rewatch as many times as you want, no matter how well you know it. “Can the most famous movie star in the world fall in love The man on the street?”

IMDb Score: 7.2

Robin Hood

let’s go notting hill to Nottingham. This is where Robin, an experienced archer who fought against the French in King Richard’s army, has traveled. Nottingham is burdened by the rule of a corrupt and downright tyrannical sheriff and absurd taxes from him. Hoping to win the heart of the widowed Lady Marian, Robin assembles a ruthless gang. His goal from him? He attacks the wealthy upper class and corrects injustice.

IMDb Score: 6.6

Range

Animation gems are also delivered outside of Pixar and Disney. Rarely, however, are they as good as Range, a 2011 animated adventure. A chameleon played by Johnny Depp is suddenly released from his terrarium. The problem: he is in the middle of a desert and there is nothing mundane about it. What follows is a wacky western filled with humor, engaging characters, and wonderful voice work. Recommended, even if you don’t have a child in your area as an excuse.

IMDb Score: 7.2

true grain

It’s a painful time for fans of the best western, because this is already the third top movie in the genre that Netflix will drop at the end of June. Where the hateful eight Tarantino’s fantastic writing shows, not true grain Ditto for the Coen brothers. Hailee Steinfeld stars as Mattie Ross, a 14-year-old girl who decides to hire a ruthless US Marshall (Jeff Bridges) to catch the man who killed her father.

IMDb Score: 7.6

Mission: Impossible: Hit three times

Netflix rules out in the lead up to Mission: Impossible – Dead Reckoning Part One also three previous installments of the franchise: Ghost Protocol since 2011, rogue nation of 2015 and Fall So it’s time to stock up on some popcorn and plan a Mission: Impossible marathon before June 30.
