If you want to spend a spontaneous night in the new Code Rosé bed and breakfast in Meilandjes, you will have to be patient. The guest house is already quite full in the months of May, June and July. And that although the reservation system only opened on Monday.
Potential guests have to book in advance with no idea what the rooms will look like. De Meilandjes, in fact, are still ‘renovating to make Code Rosé, which is described as a ‘self-catering boutique hotel’, stunningly beautiful’. They write it on the website of the bed and breakfast in Noordwijk. For that reason, there are no atmospheric images of the guesthouse or the rooms yet.
However, reservations are possible. Daughter Maxime Meiland announced on Instagram on Monday that the reservation system is open. A target, because in less than 24 hours there are already enough reservations for the months of May, June and July.
The Meiland family offers a total of eight different rooms, the prices of which vary. The minimum stay is two nights. For example, if you want to stay in room 1 of the bed and breakfast from May 29 to 31, you will pay 370 euros for two nights. That does include breakfast, served by Martien, Erica, Maxime or Montana. On average, guests pay about 200 euros per night.

The family previously ran a bed and breakfast in France, Chateau Marillaux. “We’re going to do it very differently,” Erica told this site in December. “We’re not doing dinner anymore, really just breakfast. And fix everything, reservations, administration. It is normal Bed and breakfast. That’s why we also want the word pension, which sounds a bit cozy”.
Once the business is up and running, family members will ‘rotate’ their work. “For example, I’m going to do three mornings, Maxime two, Erica two and Montana one,” Martien said. “Of course Montana has the store, so she’s busy anyway.”
